Home Depot: Why Are You Failing?
Lets face it: Home Depot has been riding through the last ten years on “Disaster Sales Management”. Home Depot believed they could make the most money as a result of disasters – hurricanes, floods, and wildfires. From the time period of the housing bubble through the bust they seem to have been on cruise control. Management has lost sight of service, inventory, quality control and general care of their people. Their first priority, unfortunately, has been stock price appreciation.
